One of my favorite ways to get the most bang for my buck with manufacturer’s coupons is to stack them with a store coupon. Do you know what stacking means? When I first started couponing I would hear people say that term and I did not what on earth they were talking about! Stacking just means that I am going to take my manufacturer’s coupon and pair it with a store coupon for the same item to get double the discount! When you do this, you can usually get an item for free or for just pennies on the dollar!
Many stores offer BOGO promotions on a weekly basis. You should check your store’s policy first, but most stores will let you use a coupon on the item that you are buying and on the FREE item! If your store allows this, you could really get some sweet deals-especially if there is a store coupon to go along with the BOGO sale and your manufacturer’s coupons! This is one of my favorite ways to maximize all my coupons for my sweet savings!
I am sure you are wondering where to find these store coupons for your sweet savings, right? I find that when I go into the grocery store there is usually a turnstile with the weekly store ads. Usually located with the weekly ad are many magazines, pamphlets, and booklets with store coupons. I usually try to grab several store coupons each time that I go into the store because you never know when there will be a BOGO sale!
I thought it would be fun just let you see what kind of deals I have gotten recently by stacking my coupons. Here are few things I have gotten for FREE or for nearly free!
-Target
Today on my trip to Target I got a great deal on Quaker Snacks! The big bags of the Quaker Rice snacks and the boxes of Drizzles are 2.34 each. I had a Target printable coupon from the Target website for $1 off Quaker snacks, then, I was able to stack that with my $1 off 1 Quaker rice snacks manufacturer’s coupon. In the end they were .34 each! I also picked up 2 bottles of the Kraft Miracle Whip that is on sale this week $1.99 for the 16oz. bottle. Once again, I was able to stack my $1 off 2 printable Target coupon from their website with my 2 manufacturer’s coupons for $1 off 1 Miracle Whip. In the end I scored 2 bottles of Miracle Whip for .98!
-Publix
Publix always has awesome store coupons and is one of my favorite places to stack coupons! Every month they usually put out a yellow and green Advantage Buy Flyer that is filled with awesome store coupons! A couple of weeks ago, One a Day Multivitamins were on sale for 4.99 each. There was a Publix coupon in the Advantage flyer for $5 off 2 One a Day Vitamins. On top of that, I had Manufacturer’s coupons for $4 off 2 One a Day vitamins. So, you guessed it, in the end I scored 2 boxes of Multivitamins for my hubby and I for .99! I did this several times to say the least! :o)
What about you? Do you have as much fun stacking as I do? Let me know what deals you have scored recently! ;o)
