Classic Cars -Classic cars are sought after like never before. Many drivers yearn for a car that exudes that classic quality. But the problem is they don’t want to deal with all the problems that come with owning an old car. That’s where you can come in as an investor. The job of the investor is to find the car and then get it repaired and in good condition again. You can then sell it on at a profit. It’s one of the very best alternative investments out there if you’re willing to do the work and put in the money.
Comic Books – This is one of those things that has started to be recognised as a great investment choice in recent times. Like toys, comic books from decades gone by have become more and more collectible recently. So, if you know where to look, and you can get your hands on some old comic books, you might be able to make some money in the long-term. If I were you, I’d hold onto those comic books for a little longer because the prices don’t seem like they’re about to drop just yet.
Peer-to-Peer Lending – With the rise of peer-to-peer lending, investors can now take on the role that used to be reserved for banks. You can become the one that lends people money. The borrower borrows the money from you, and you agree on a repayment plan. It’s pretty much the same as what would happen if the borrower borrowed the money from a big bank. It can provide a better deal for people looking to borrow money though. And it’s a great way to make money for the investors who are doing the lending.
Wine – There are not many consumable products that work as investments because most of them don’t improve in value with age. The main product that subverts that rule is wine. The right vintages can become very valuable and highly sought after. To become successful as a wine investor you need to have a strong understanding of wine and the market that surrounds it. If you go in with no knowledge of it, you will probably not succeed. You will also need a temperature-controlled room in which to store the wine.
